Every fence type has different advantages and in the Treasure and Space Coast, there is extreme heat, salt air, and humidity. This can be rough on any fence; therefore, the quality of the install is as important as the materials used.

Wood fencing holds up well in the Florida climate, but the quality of the wood and install make a big difference in your fencing needs. Lesser grade lumber can cause problems within the first year, at HTI we use higher quality wood, though we do suggest sealing to help preserve with the sun and salt a constant battle. Vinyl and chainlink fence are great options and hold up very well in the Florida sun. Again, the quality of the materials and install are extremely important and more valuable than the type or style of fence you choose.
